Exciting opportunity to join our compassionate team as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW)

We are currently seeking licensed mental health professionals to join our team. Our clinic specializes in managing mental health issues commonly found in the elderly, such as depression, anxiety, dementia-related disorders, and adjustment challenges. As part of our team, you will collaborate with experienced geriatric psychiatrists and play a key role in improving the quality of life for our senior patients. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per year with full benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering the unique needs and challenges of older adults.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account cognitive changes, physical health, and social factors.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, to address geriatric psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with geriatric psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving elderly patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state
  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build trust with elderly patients and their families.
