Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 per year

Job description

The clinician/therapist is responsible for providing direct mental health services and documentation to an assigned caseload, in accordance with Mental Health regulations. The therapist is responsible for the development of the client treatment plan and the ongoing updating in accordance with Mental Health and contract standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidenced-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavior therapy, contingency management
  • Participates in treatment team, staff, and professional meetings to discuss client progress.
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health interventions
  • Consult and collaborate with mental health providers on the assessment and treatment of psychological disorders, substance use disorders, and psycho-social problems
  • Perform behavioral health screening, triage, evaluation, and assessment to determine appropriate level of behavioral health care

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • Must be up to date on LMFT/LCSW/LPCC requirements and supervision guidelines
  • Two (2) years of experience in providing crisis management and mental health services
  • Knowledge of theories and research on personality and intellectual growth and development, individual differences, human motivation, and abnormal behavior.
  • Knowledge of interview techniques, as well as current trends in the mental health field.
