We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, helping them navigate mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This role involves facilitating therapy sessions, working with electronic medical records (EMR), timely therapy notes writing and adherence to generally accepted compliance standards. patients can be seen in person or through telehealth.
Salary:
- $120,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Provides telehealth and guidance to patients and family members as a part of total patient care.
- Tests and evaluates patients.
- Implements the specific counseling activities and/or interventions that will lead to accomplishing the plan goals.
- Collaborate with other clinicians and participate in case consultations as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of clinical practice.
- Performs reporting procedures.
- Attends meetings and conferences to keep current on ideas and techniques in the field of counseling.
- Must have 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
- Must hold current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT in the state.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
