We are seeking a Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist who is passionate about client wellness and personal growth. In this role, you will provide compassionate counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, assisting them in navigating mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include facilitating therapy sessions, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), writing timely therapy notes, and adhering to compliance standards. In-person sessions will be a key part of your approach to foster meaningful connections with clients.
Salary:
- $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus benefits
- Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests to develop treatment plans.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address mental health issues and promote emotional well-being.
- Regularly assess clients’ progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, including risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others.
- Work alongside other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any changes in client status.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
- Must hold active California state license as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
