Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Join our expanding team that provides essential outpatient behavioral health services. We offer a variety of programs, including individual and group therapy, substance use assessments, and tailored treatment plans. Our focus is on a recovery-centered approach, working to improve emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and social health for those we serve.
Position Details:
- Full-time role, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling, assessing and addressing emotional and behavioral concerns.
- Maintain open communication with medical staff about patient progress, needs, and any challenges.
- Document and maintain thorough and accurate records, including clinical and progress notes in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create treatment plans, including discharge planning, based on psychosocial assessments and approved interventions.
- Build relationships with community leaders and represent the organization at meetings aimed at supporting the social needs of patients.
Salary: $90k - $100k annually
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling
- One of the following independent licenses: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience
