Full-Time Mental Health Counselor Wanted in Levittown, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a passionate and skilled mental health counselor to join our outpatient behavioral health services. This role involves providing essential care, including individual and group therapy, and offering substance use assessments and comprehensive treatment plans, all aimed at fostering recovery and promoting long-term well-being.

Job Details:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct counseling and crisis interventions, addressing emotional and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss patient needs, progress, and concerns.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records as per department guidelines.
• Partner with healthcare colleagues to devise patient treatment and discharge plans based on assessments and best practices.
• Engage with local community leaders and serve as a representative at social service meetings and committees.

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
• Independent licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
