Licensed Mental Health Counselor Position Available in Hilo, Hawaii
This is an opportunity to make a difference through clinical care and innovative research in Hawaii. Licensed professionals (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) are needed to support adult participants in overcoming mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use, while engaging in groundbreaking research initiatives.
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth evaluations to understand client needs and guide personalized therapy.
- Implement evidence-based techniques, addressing safety risks and behavioral patterns.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records to ensure compliance with research protocols.
- Actively participate in discussions to refine intervention strategies based on client progress.
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work).
- Current licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
- Two years of clinical practice experience.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
