Mental Health Therapist – Empower Change in Your Community

Location: Hayward, CA

Join a team that makes a real impact. We are looking for a Mental Health Therapist to provide essential support to individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. This role is ideal for someone who values clinical excellence and is committed to helping individuals build a path toward stability and wellness.

Bilingual candidates fluent in Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese may qualify for additional incentives.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $78,000 - $85,000 annually (dependent on experience, education, language proficiency, and certifications)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic support.
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions focused on recovery and personal development.
  • Maintain thorough documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Connect clients with community resources to support their recovery journey.

Qualifications:

  • MS/MA in Clinical Psychology, Professional Counseling, or a related field (practicum enrollment or BBS registration required).
  • One year of experience in a clinical, residential, or substance abuse treatment setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or Tagalog).
  • CPR/First Aid certification and a valid California driver’s license required.
