Mental Health Counselor – School-Based Role | $90,000–$120,000/year

We’re looking for a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our school-based support team in Anaheim, California. In this role, you’ll work directly with students to provide emotional and psychological support, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive both in and out of the classroom. Position Details:

• Full-Time
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Annual Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution efforts
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student well-being
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Create safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed environments for students

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent in California State
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
