Mental Health Counselor | Student-Focused Mental Health Role | $90K–$120K

Support students where they spend most of their time—on campus. We're hiring a licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide school-based therapy, crisis response, and wellness support for K–12 students in Riverside, California. You'll work side by side with educators and families to help students manage emotional stress, build coping strategies, and stay on track socially and academically.

Role Highlights:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Annual salary from $90,000 to $120,000, based on experience
  • On-site school environment

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy to students
  • Support behavioral health needs and manage crisis situations
  • Partner with school staff and families to plan care
  • Maintain clinical records per state standards
  • Encourage trauma-informed, inclusive support strategies

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent in California State
  • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment
