Mental Health Counselor – Brooklyn, NY
Overview
We’re hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work in a New York-based outpatient practice. The role is ideal for clinicians looking to focus on therapy during regular hours, working with individuals facing anxiety, trauma, and related conditions in a structured care model.
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care through scheduled individual therapy
- Formulate and revise care plans as needed
- Work closely with clinical peers to coordinate support
- Maintain complete and compliant documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active NY license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Graduate-level training in a behavioral health field
- Comfortable using EHRs and video-based care tools
