Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) – Full-Time in Manchester, Vermont

Calling all experienced and competent mental health counselors (LCMHC)! We have an open position in Maine. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidenced-based psychotherapeutic interventions.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services to persons served in compliance with policies and relevant professional standards, including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Complete relevant clinical documentation, including clinical service reports and mental health treatment records, in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide consultation services to institutional staff, including screening committees and psychiatric staff, regarding the mental status and management of persons served
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and specialized clinical services and/or program development activities
  • Maintain accountability for services provided through participation in the Quality Improvement program and timely and accurate recording of activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Accredited Institution is required.
  • Valid and active independent (LMHC) license to practice in Vermont
  • Proven experience in providing counseling or psychotherapy
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively
