Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides individualized care and treatment, considering the age and developmental needs of each person served, and conducts professional assessments of family needs while delivering family therapy interventions
- Independently develops biopsychosocial summaries, implements interventions for discharge barriers, and coordinates all aspects of discharge planning and documentation
- Advocates and negotiates with internal and external systems on behalf of the person served, ensuring adherence to professional standards
- Offers crisis intervention, supports families in understanding mental illness complexities, and utilizes all interactions with the person served as opportunities for empowering therapeutic interventions
- Conducts counseling sessions, facilitates therapeutic groups, and actively participates in community and treatment team meetings, representing the clinical needs of the person served
Minimum Qualifications
- Unrestricted LCMHC license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required
- Experience with telehealth or virtual counseling services
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse utilization review process preferred
- Comfortable working with various virtual communication tools and platforms
