Hiring! Licensed Professional Counselor – Full-Time Opportunity in Stateline, Nevada

Our team is excited to board a new Licensed Professional Counselor. If you have the skills to provide mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, or groups and help them identify and manage emotional, and psychological challenges through individual therapy sessions, we would like to hear from you!

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess clients' needs, presenting issues, and mental health status
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, including goals, interventions, and expected outcomes
  • Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to address a range of mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and substance abuse
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for clients with similar concerns to promote peer support and shared learning
  • Respond to crises with clients, providing immediate support and safety planning as needed
  • Maintain accurate client records, document therapy sessions, and communicate with relevant parties like insurance companies or other healthcare providers
  • Adhere to professional ethical codes and standards of practice, ensuring client confidentiality and maintaining appropriate boundaries

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • Must pass the required licensing exam and maintain licensure in the state of Nevada
  • Proficiency in various counseling approaches
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively convey information
  • Ability to understand and respect diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences
