Seeking Full-Time/Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Needed at Dutchess Psychotherapy Services in Bakersfield, CA


Visit our private practice to experience a welcoming and private setting. Collaborate with helpful specialists to help clients recover from trauma, anxiety, and despair. Enjoy the advantages of private practice while changing lives. Counseling for mental health issues, therapy for different conditions, and individual and group therapy are all provided.

Schedule:


  • 8 Hours
  • 5 Days of Work Saturday on calls

Salary:

  • $70,000 - $100,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Work with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that match their requirements, goals, and preferences.
  • Use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Clients and families should be educated and supported on mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care practices.
  • Client progress is monitored and tracked, and treatment plans are adjusted as appropriate.
  • For integrated care, work together with psychiatrists and other medical specialists.
  • Stay updated with mood disorder research and advances to help improve treatment strategies.


Qualifications:


  • Must have a current and active state license: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Develop a secure and trusted therapy relationship with clients by demonstrating great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles are required.
