Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Position Available at Psychodynamic Family Group Therapy, Inc.

Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) that specialize in addiction counseling are wanted at our company. In the hiring process, candidates with superior clinical abilities, empathy, cultural awareness, and a collaborative approach will be given preference.

Work Schedule:

Regular workweek 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct Clinical evaluations: LMHCs must conduct in-depth evaluations of their clients in order to identify mental health issues and design treatment programs.

- Individual Counseling: LMHCs provide individual counseling sessions to clients, addressing their emotional and psychological difficulties with evidence-based therapeutic strategies.

- Facilitate Group Therapy: Some LMHCs facilitate group therapy sessions, where they establish a safe space for clients to communicate and work on shared difficulties.

- Build Treatment Plans: LMHCs build tailored treatment plans for clients, including objectives and interventions to assist them in improving their mental health and well-being.

- Maintain Clinical Records: In accordance with legal and ethical norms, LMHCs must retain accurate and private records of client sessions, progress, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from a recognized college or university

- Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license

- A minimum of four years of recent experience in psychiatric counseling and mental health assistance is required.

- Additional education or training in psychiatric mental health concerns

- Proven expertise in providing counseling services to older people with a variety of mental health issues.

- Thorough understanding of evidence-based strategies for supporting mental health in the elderly

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships.

- Exhibited empathy and cultural awareness when dealing with older folks from various backgrounds.

- Ability to perform thorough examinations and establish tailored treatment plans

Salary:

$90,000-105,000 Each year, with a bonus
