Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Position Available at StrongMynd Plus Support, Inc.

We are hiring immediately for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)!

We are giving a HIRE-ON BONUS.

Schedule:

Annually $90,000-$105,000

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and engage in treatment planning, offering guidance as required for the preparation of pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, positive behavior plans, pharmaceutical treatment plans, and other related documents.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Use the clinical team-recommended evidence-based screening tools.
  • Effectively collaborate with teams and programs to develop and implement positive behavior support strategies.
  • Participate actively in all licensing and accreditation processes.
  • As needed, act as a liaison with applicable service systems, governmental agencies, and community partners.
  • Create and maintain open and effective channels of communication in order to satisfy contract requirements and promote the agency's purpose in the community.
  • Develop relationships with local, state, federal, and private groups and agencies in order to advocate for programs and find prospective alliances, partnerships, and funding sources.
  • Look for chances for personal and professional development, such as attending conferences, giving presentations, and participating in statewide meetings, task forces, committees, and so on, that are linked to your area of expertise.
  • Promote and integrate the mission, values, philosophy, and principles of the organization.
  • Carry out any related responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required
  • Independent LMHC License by the state board
  • Ability to maintain clinical records and prepare related reports.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in an interdisciplinary team setting.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make independent decisions based on professional knowledge.
