FULL-TIME/PART-TIME LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR (LMHC)

A dedicated mental health counseling practice committed to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. We believe in the power of mental health to transform lives, and we are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling services based on mental health, psychological and human development theories, principles, and techniques to adults, families, and groups
  • Deliver psycho education to patients, providing information regarding mental health, emotional disorders, or behavioral health
  • Participate in staffing, case conferences, or other meetings with or without the patient or the patient’s
  • Facilitate human development and adjustment; assess and facilitate career development; treat interpersonal relationship issues and nervous, mental, and emotional disorders that are cognitive, affective, or behavioral, and manage symptoms of mental illness
  • Provide outreach and follow-up of services.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of transition, discharge and aftercare plans prior to discontinuation of behavioral health services
  • Maintain the patient's comprehensive clinical record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process (E. G., Assessments, provisions of service, coordination of care, discharge planning).
  • Provide continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the patient and input from the patient and relevant others resulting in modification to the service plan, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with adults and/or children who have a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional with a full and unrestricted license in good standing in your state
  • Atleast minimum of three years working experience in the same field
  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university in the behavioral and mental health field
  • Organizing abilities, quick and enthusiastic learner, excellent communicator, receptive to feedback, excellent time management
