Looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Job Description: Our mission is to provide high quality mental and behavioral health care to diverse communities and vulnerable populations. We facilitate therapy for individuals and heal families affected by mental health issues and support them to lead healthy and productive lives

Salary: $100,000 to $105,000

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake interviews/assessments and collects and processes psycho-social data from participants, families, peers and others as appropriate.
  • Knowledgeable of the mental health recovery model and integrates recovery principles into clinical practice.
  • Develops, maintains, implements crisis and treatment plans with client’s input with a focus on building upon strengths.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and clinicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct intake appointments, create treatment plan and goals, maintain accurate records of patient progress.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mental health counseling (LMHC)
  • Active License in mental health counseling (LMHC)
  • 2 years Mental Health Experience Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge of various counseling techniques including grief counseling and some addiction counseling.
