Wanted: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Licensed Therapist to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of our addiction program including group therapy, individual and family therapy.
The primary focus of the Therapist is to provide assessment, treatment planning, referral recommendations, discharge planning, education, and direct therapeutic intervention for patients and their families throughout treatment.
Salary: $100,000 to $105,000
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Perform intake interviews/assessments and collects and processes psycho-social data from participants, families, peers and others as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable of the mental health recovery model and integrates recovery principles into clinical practice.
- Develops, maintains, implements crisis and treatment plans with client’s input with a focus on building upon strengths.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and clinicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Conduct intake appointments, create treatment plan and goals, maintain accurate records of patient progress.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling (LMHC)
- Active License in mental health counseling (LMHC)
- 2 years Mental Health Experience Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of various counseling techniques including grief counseling and some addiction counseling.
