Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Job Description: Join our team as a Mental Health Therapist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support. We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders who can work on a team. Ideal candidates will have experience with individual and group counseling.
Salary: $100,000 to $105,000
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Perform intake interviews/assessments and collects and processes psycho-social data from participants, families, peers and others as appropriate.
- Knowledgeable of the mental health recovery model and integrates recovery principles into clinical practice.
- Develops, maintains, implements crisis and treatment plans with client’s input with a focus on building upon strengths.
- Collaborate with medical professionals and clinicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Conduct intake appointments, create treatment plan and goals, maintain accurate records of patient progress.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling (LMHC)
- Active License in mental health counseling (LMHC)
- 2 years Mental Health Experience Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of various counseling techniques including grief counseling and some addiction counseling.
