Mental Health Counselor

Seeking mental health counselor who embodies a client centered empathetic approach that is coupled with the ability to challenge as well as facilitate and process. Having the ability to honor all identities and a commitment to being an advocate and agent of change is an important part of the work we do. We offer individualized professional supervision tailored to each clinician's needs and the position can be well suited to associate licensed therapists in need of supervised experience.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
- Assist in crisis management situations and provide de-escalation techniques
- Collect and record patient data to track progress and inform treatment decisions
- Maintain a safe, confidential and therapeutic virtual environment and professional presentation

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field and current Licensure in WA state as an LMHC or an LMHC-A
- Experience working in behavioral/mental health settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and research backed methods including CBT, DBT, ACT as well as systems of care.

- Up to date on current research and practices, which may include professional psychedelic integration counseling
- Familiarity with pediatric mental health care and developmental considerations across the life span
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and community at large
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in documentation and associated technology

Skills:

- Lived experience within mental health/ education/ healthcare systems
- Experience providing mental health and/or integration counseling services
- Behavioral/mental health knowledge and expertise
- Skills in: Crisis management, Career counseling, Assessment, Trauma informed care
- Data collection and documentation proficiency
- Diagnostic mental health expertise
