Job description

Child, Marriage and Family Counseling is a small private agency with a family systems orientation. We work with children, teens, individuals, couples and families.

Responsibility:

  • Counselors set their own schedules.
  • Minimal paperwork. (1-2 hours weekly) Focus is on building client rapport and treatment methods.
  • Peer and individual supervision free. Weekly individual and bimonthly group.
  • Professional development training in art and sand tray techniques if desired. Both in person and telehealth.
  • Children, teens, individuals, couples and families are clients at this agency. Experience with couples and individual adults especially valuable.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Requirements:

  • Must have Master's Degree full professional license in Washington State. LMHC
  • At least 2-3 years of experience related in any of this field.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment
  • Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans
  • Strong verbal communication skills to counsel and advise patients
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans
  • Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes
