Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $100,000 to $105,000

Job Summary:

Provide mental health services to children and parents that are impacted by autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in individual and group treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency mental health services; may include periodic on-call coverage on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Refer parents and patients to resources or community treatment providers as appropriate
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical notes, monthly statistics, and any other clinical documentation
  • Provide training, consultation, and support to other as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in (LMHC)
  • Active Licensed in Washington State as Mental Health Counselor
  • At least 2 years of experience in this field.
  • Experience in pediatric mental health assessment, short term psychotherapy, crisis intervention and case management as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to manage barrier behaviors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn software programs for electronic record-keeping
