Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $100,000 to $105,000
Job Summary:
Provide mental health services to children and parents that are impacted by autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in individual and group treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency mental health services; may include periodic on-call coverage on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Refer parents and patients to resources or community treatment providers as appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date clinical notes, monthly statistics, and any other clinical documentation
- Provide training, consultation, and support to other as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in (LMHC)
- Active Licensed in Washington State as Mental Health Counselor
- At least 2 years of experience in this field.
- Experience in pediatric mental health assessment, short term psychotherapy, crisis intervention and case management as needed
- Demonstrated ability to manage barrier behaviors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn software programs for electronic record-keeping
