Looking for full time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Salary: $100,000 - $105,000

Employment: Full Time

Description

Provides mental health services to individuals, families, couples, and groups at the Muckleshoot Behavioral Health Program. Services will be located at a mental health outpatient clinic and also include outreach to various community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Performs intake interviews/assessments and collects and processes psycho-social data from participants, families, peers and others as appropriate.
  • . Maintains all program files in a professional and efficient manner according to procedures outlined and in accordance with WAC (Washington Administrative Code).
  • Develops, maintains, implements crisis and treatment plans with client’s input with a focus on building upon strengths.
  • Consults with psychiatric providers, ARNP, or chemical dependency and other professionals as needed.
  • Provides appropriate referrals to clients outside the scope of LT practice.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an integrated healthcare setting including primary care services
  • Experience or specialized training in treating adolescents with substance use disorders
  • Experience or specialized training in family therapy and working with family members that have a family member with a substance use disorder
  • Experience or specialized training in treating trauma
  • Minimum one (1) year working in a setting that is specific to substance use disorder treatment within the last five (5) years OR completion of KP Addiction Medicine department internship before hire/transfer.
