Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC): Empower Clients to Overcome Obstacles
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you’ll provide essential therapeutic services that support individuals and families in navigating mental health challenges. This full-time position allows you to work with clients across a range of needs and collaborate with a team dedicated to holistic, client-centered care.
Job Type: Full-time
SALARY: $90,000 - $115,000 per year and benefits
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, helping clients explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.
- Regularly evaluate client progress and collaborate on treatment adjustments with the care team.
- Partner with healthcare providers, including doctors and social workers, to create integrated treatment plans.
- Communicate with medical teams for clients who require additional support or hospitalization.
- Identify and address behaviors that could hinder recovery, supporting clients in adopting healthier approaches.
- education and support to family members and caregivers, empowering them to contribute positively to the client’s recovery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.
- Must hold a valid LMHC license in the state.
- Must have experience working with older adults
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
