Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – Full-Time in Issaquah, Washington
Calling all experienced mental health counselors (LMHC)! We have an open position in one of our outpatient facilities. We provide mental healthcare services that are focused on evidenced-based, medically driven treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults suffering from a variety of mental health issues in an outpatient care setting.
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts brief diagnostic screening of patients using evidence-based assessments and screening tools
- Generate documentation of assessment and intervention in the medical record in a timely manner
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to residents and their families as well as coordinate appropriate family/resource visitation
- Consult with providers as part of the interdisciplinary team and generate recommendations, referrals, and case management as needed
- Conduct safety and risk assessments as needed
- Provide education, treatment, and referrals to family members as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Accredited Institution is required.
- Valid and active independent (LMHC) license to practice in Washington
- Proven experience in providing counseling or psychotherapy
- Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively
