Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides individualized care and treatment, considering the age and developmental needs of each person served, and conducts professional assessments of family needs while delivering family therapy interventions
  • Independently develops biopsychosocial summaries, implements interventions for discharge barriers, and coordinates all aspects of discharge planning and documentation
  • Advocates and negotiates with internal and external systems on behalf of the person served, ensuring adherence to professional standards
  • Offers crisis intervention, supports families in understanding mental illness complexities, and utilizes all interactions with the person served as opportunities for empowering therapeutic interventions
  • Conducts counseling sessions, facilitates therapeutic groups, and actively participates in community and treatment team meetings, representing the clinical needs of the person served

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted LMHC license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling (New York State)
  • Strong adherence to HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude
  • Strong willingness and interest in receiving clinical and professional feedback
  • Community-oriented, committed to developing increased self-awareness, adaptability to changes in technology, procedures, and delivery of care
