Now Hiring: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Urbandale, Iowa

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our outpatient clinic in Iowa. In this role, you will provide one-on-one counseling services, supporting individuals navigating emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling in an in-person outpatient setting.
  • Utilize evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with California state regulations.
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Active LMHC license in Iowa, in good standing.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
