About the Role:
We are looking for a licensed mental health therapist who wants to support our mission in improving access to long-term mental healthcare! We are expanding our service to include video therapy sessions along with medication management and are looking for high-quality therapists to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address a range of issues, including gender issues, developmental disabilities, chronic pain, and crisis intervention
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as art therapy, dance therapy, and clinical counseling, to facilitate healing and personal growth
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
Requirements:
- Valid license as LMHC in the state of Hawaii
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Experience in providing mental health counseling services
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice
