About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Mental Health Counselor/Therapist to join our team. This role focuses on providing mental health support, case management, and therapeutic interventions for individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide trauma-informed and evidence-based therapy, including CBT, DBT, and other modalities.
  • Offer crisis intervention and stabilization services for patients in acute distress.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
  • Assist in developing discharge and aftercare plans to support long-term recovery.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and facility guidelines regarding mental health treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and case consultations.

Requirements:

  • Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Missouri (Required).
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Strong crisis intervention and case management skills.
  • Experience working with patients facing chronic illness, mental health disorders, and trauma.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and Missouri mental health laws.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills.
