Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual mental health evaluations and risk assessments via secure telehealth platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide trauma-informed and evidence-based therapy, including CBT, DBT, and other modalities, in a remote setting.
- Offer crisis intervention and stabilization services for patients in distress.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available virtual resources.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and telehealth regulations for patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Participate in virtual staff meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical environment or clinical process experience
- An individual NPI number, reliable internet connection, and phone call availability, and single or multiple active (not expired) state licenses
- Must be a fully licensed Therapist in the State of Missouri (LMHC)
- Must be licensed with a relevant regulatory body and eligible for malpractice insurance.
- Knowledge and understanding in Treatment Planning, Case Management, and maintaining detailed client records
