We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic outpatient therapy practice in Hawaii. If you’re passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families in their journey toward emotional wellness, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, histories, and treatment goals.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and personal goals.
- Providing evidence-based therapy in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and other therapeutic techniques.
- Supporting clients with emotional regulation, coping strategies, and skills to improve their mental well-being.
- Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to address common mental health challenges.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other clinicians.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay current on best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active LMHC licensure in the state of Hawaii.
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in providing counseling or therapy services (experience in outpatient settings preferred).
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse case
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
