About the position:

We’re currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is passionate about walking alongside clients in their mental health journey and eager to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative, compassionate team.

Your Role as an LMHC:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling in an outpatient setting
  • Perform diagnostic assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans
  • Utilize evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care
  • Maintain timely, ethical, and accurate clinical documentation (via our user-friendly EMR)
  • Participate in team case consultations, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Engage clients with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity

What You Bring:

  • Active LMHC license in Iowa (Required)
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in clinical ethics and therapeutic best practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative spirit and growth-oriented mindset
  • Experience with diverse populations, trauma-informed care, or specialized modalities (a plus!)

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and caseload (W-2 salary or 1099 contractor model)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance (for W-2 employees)
  • Generous PTO, holidays, and sick time
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Flexible scheduling and hybrid work options
  • Paid supervision for provisional licenses (t-LMHCs welcome to apply!)
  • CEU reimbursement, licensure support, and clinical training
  • A team-first culture rooted in integrity, empathy, and professional growth

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and join a team that values compassion as much as clinical excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
