Job Types: Full-time

Competitive pay and incentives: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

About the Role:

We're growing and looking to bring on a passionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who shares our dedication to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges.

As an LMHC at our outpatient clinic, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy. You’ll work with a diverse caseload, provide clinical assessments, and guide your clients through their therapeutic journeys with empathy and professionalism.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations and ongoing individual, couples, or group therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnosis
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with clinic and state regulations
  • Participate in supervision and clinical meetings to support continued learning and growth
  • Uphold ethical guidelines and state licensure requirements
  • Support clients from all backgrounds, with sensitivity to cultural, racial, gender, and socioeconomic factors

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York (required)
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field
  • Minimum 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience (outpatient or private practice preferred)
  • Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or trauma-informed care
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • A collaborative, compassionate approach to mental health care
  • Comfort working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ and marginalized communities
