Now Hiring: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)- Iowa

Location: Davenport, Iowa

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Schedule: Monday-Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)

Position Overview:

As an LMHC, you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and well-being of clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. This position allows for flexibility, with options for in-person, remote, or hybrid work schedules depending on your preferences and location.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers when needed
  • Participate in regular team meetings, optional case consultations, and continuing education
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all state and federal regulations

What You Bring:

  • Active Iowa LMHC license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience post-graduation preferred
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
  • Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Cultural humility and commitment to serving diverse communities
  • Must reside in Iowa or be licensed to practice with Iowa clients
