Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Full-Time Outpatient Opportunity in Glen Cove, NY
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed mental health professional (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) to join a busy outpatient clinic serving adult clients. This role focuses on therapeutic engagement, care coordination, and treatment planning in a team-centered clinical environment.
Role Details:
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Annual Salary: $115,000 – $120,000
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evidence-based individual therapy
- Collaborate with care team on treatment goals
- Maintain clinical notes in compliance with documentation policies
- Assist in developing trauma-informed strategies for care
Minimum Qualifications:
- NY state license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
- Ability to use EHR and telehealth systems efficiently
