We are looking for full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate licensed mental health counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues.

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Conducting initial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance abuse needs of clients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy services
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure the highest quality of care for clients
  • Participating in case reviews and treatment planning meetings
  • Providing crisis intervention services as needed
  • Keeping up-to-date with current trends and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling or related field
  • Licensed as a mental health counselor in the state
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services to individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
