Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Newnan, Georgia

We are seeking a licensed and compassionate LPC to join our mental health team in Georgia. In this full-time role, you will provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients dealing with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, evidence-based care that promotes healing and emotional well-being.

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to clients experiencing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions.
  • Offer crisis intervention and stabilization support during acute episodes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards.
  • Participate in case reviews and team meetings to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active LPC license in Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Proficiency in individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral interventions, and crisis management.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
