Now Hiring: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Maine
Location: Buxton, Maine
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)
As a growing therapy practice supporting communities across Maine, we are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about providing high-quality care, enjoys autonomy, and values being part of a team that supports one another.
As an LPC, you’ll have the freedom to design a caseload that aligns with your clinical passions—whether that’s working with individuals, couples, families, or specialized populations. You’ll have full administrative support so you can focus on what you do best: helping clients heal and grow.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy to a diverse caseload via telehealth or in-person (your choice)
- Conduct intake assessments and create individualized, strengths-based treatment plans
- Maintain timely clinical documentation in compliance with Maine Board of Counseling Professionals regulations
- Use evidence-based modalities suited to the client’s needs (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, etc.)
- (Optional) Participate in case consultations, peer support groups, or clinical meetings
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maine (must be active and in good standing)
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, or related field
- Proficient in clinical documentation and ethical practice standards
- Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Comfortable offering therapy to a wide range of diagnoses and life transitions
