Responsibilities:

  • Provide Counseling Services: Offer individual counseling sessions focused on women aged 35-55, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, midlife transitions, relationship dynamics, and stress management.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Conduct Sessions: Deliver therapy sessions, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for all clients.
  • Monitor Client Progress: Track client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including referrals to other specialists when needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling (LPCC)
  • Active LPCC license in the state of CA
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical counseling
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC): unrestricted, independent, current, active
  • Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes
  • Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files
  • Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws
  • Computer skills in operating record-keeping, scheduling, email, and word-processing software
