Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual and group counseling, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a team of mental health professionals. The ideal candidate is empathetic and have a genuine desire to help others.
Job Duties:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure integrated care.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case reviews, and staff meetings.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.
Requirements:
- Active LPCC license in the state of California.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical counseling experience preferred.
- Proficiency in DSM-5 diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
