Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling and be skilled in various therapeutic approaches, including individual and group counseling. This role is essential in providing support to clients, particularly in the areas of behavior management, ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care.

Job Duties:

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure integrated care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case reviews, and staff meetings.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Requirements:

  • Valid California state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC)
  • Experience in clinical counseling
  • Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques
  • Strong understanding of behavior management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
