Position Overview:
The licensed therapist is responsible for providing direct psychological and clinical services to injured workers. Services are provided through multiple modalities, including initial assessments, case management, psychoeducation and movement classes, and individual and group psychotherapy.
This position plays a vital role in providing essential mental health services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and rehabilitative environment within the facility.

Job Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
- Utilize trauma-informed care practices to support clients with diverse needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with California state regulations.
- Participate in case reviews, consultations, and professional development activities.
- Valid California state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC)
- Experience in clinical counseling
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques
- Strong understanding of behavior management principles
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-directed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
