Hiring! Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Location: Compton, California
Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits

Positions available :
Full-time: Dates & Times are subject to change
Monday - Friday (9:00 am- 5:00 pm)

Position Overview:
We're seeking to partner with Clinical Counselors to be part of a community working collaboratively to bring greater mental health access to the public to provide mental health coaching
Counselors will be providing crisis management and counseling services while also running group therapies and education for the clients and family/significant others in a therapeutic setting. Other job duties include caring for clients’ emotional needs and coordinating treatment and discharge planning.

Job Duties:
  • Provide assessment and participate in the treatment planning with clients
  • Review client chart for completion of all paperwork with appropriate signatures; complete weekly audits each Friday
  • Facilitate discharge planning and community outreach
  • Respond well to emergencies and initiate action as required
  • Record noteworthy events involving the client’s activities in the daily record
  • Respond to client complaints in an efficient and timely manner
  • Check for completion of client orientation by support staff
  • Contact family immediately and set up a schedule of communication for the remainder of treatment if desired by the client
  • Meet with clients individually twice a week at minimum
  • Complete notes for every group and interaction
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training.
Requirements:
  • Valid California state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC)
  • Experience in clinical counseling
  • Proficiency in individual and group counseling techniques
  • Strong understanding of behavior management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in counseling
