Location: Berkeley, California
Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits
Positions available :
Full-time: Monday - Friday (9:00 am- 5:00 pm)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic adolescent clinical counselor (LPCC) that wants to make a difference and be part of an amazing and growing team. The therapists will be advocating for client and family care through strong assessments and treatment planning, ongoing progress monitoring with detailed case management, community-based support, and robust aftercare planning.

Job Duties:
- Plan, implement, and adjust individualized treatment courses, ensuring client-centered care.
- Conduct family, group, and 1:1 therapy sessions, driving therapeutic progress with evidence-based practices.
- Maintain regular communication with families, providing parent coaching and support.
- Maintain meticulous documentation, adhere to treatment standards, and oversee program completion and discharge plans.
- Contribute to program goals by implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
- Oversee program completion and discharge requirements, developing comprehensive discharge plans and reviewing them with students and their families.
- Ensure compliance with state laws on documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and working with government agencies.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a results-driven, empathetic approach.
Requirements:
- CA Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
- Two (2) years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- One year of experience working in a high acuity setting (intensive out-patient, residential, psychiatric hospital, eating disorder clinic, substance abuse clinic, etc., using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities
- Desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
- Ability to pass a state background check and drug test
