Full Time Needed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Henry Healthcare Services

Central to this effort is securing Certified Registered Anesthetists who contribute to our mission of quality healthcare and patient satisfaction. CRNAs evaluate our patient’s health history, manage and monitor airway, administer a personalized sedation plan tailored to the procedure, and supervise recovery.
- Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development and the
skills necessary to provide care to the age of the patient, neonate through - Advises staff responsible for post anesthesia care of specific problems related
to patient’s condition. - Records all pertinent events taking place during the induction of,
maintenance of and emergence from anesthesia, including the dosage and
duration of all anesthetic agents, other drugs, intravenous fluids and
blood/blood components on all patients that have received anesthesia care. - Performs post anesthetic patient assessment, records post anesthetic visits,
including at least one note describing the presence or absence of anesthesia
related complications. Documents at least one post anesthetic note while the
patient is in the surgical suite or PACU. - Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and
the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient,
neonate through geriatric. - Performs and documents pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the
patient, including all appropriate lab values, study results, consultative
information and pre-anesthesia clinical history. - Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain
management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain - Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and facility regulations, laws and
policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Job Requirements:
You must possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of School of Nursing
- RN with active, unrestricted state license in the state.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Current certification from AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Current BCLS/ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification as required
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a CRNA
- Strong ethical and moral character
- Basic computer skills
Salary:
$300,000 - $4000,000 per year
