Full-time/Part-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioners Needed at Derma Experts in Norristown, PA

Derma Experts is proud to offer cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery options and looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individual Nurse Practitioner to join an established dermatology practice.

Our team culture emphasizes attending staff meetings and completing mandatory in-services, and competency evaluations punctually. You will demonstrate competency in providing patient care, considering specific needs based on age, sex, weight, and other factors. In non-clinical areas, you will master age-specific customer service skills and wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment.

Schedule:

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for patient care management, counseling, and education of patients and families in collaboration with facility MDs.

General Requirements:

  • Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission, and vision of the organization
  • Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs)
  • Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific+ customer service skills.
  • Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
  • 4+ years’ experience in supervision and independent decision-making in major nursing areas (Preferred)
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Nurse Practitioners Certification (NP-C), Basic Life Support (BLS), Department Specific Certifications may be required.

Salary:

$125,000 - $300,000
