Full-time/Part-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Wanted at Derm Ageless Experts in Goodyear, AZ

A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes is looking to immediately hire a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to work collaboratively with their teams of Dermatologists and healthcare professionals in various nursing homes (Travel expenses will be reimbursed), providing comprehensive Dermatology care to patients.

Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing Dermatology conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 per year, in addition to hefty paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision benefits, CME allowance, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dermatological assessments, including comprehensive patient history and detailed skin examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies and patch tests, to accurately diagnose various skin conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with dermatological disorders, tailoring the approach to address specific conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and more.
  • Assist with dermatological procedures, including the safe and precise removal of skin lesions and cryotherapy for targeted treatment.
  • Provide patient education on essential aspects of skin health, sun protection measures, and effective skincare routines to promote overall skin well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in dermatology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in dermatology, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions.
  • In-depth knowledge of dermatological assessment techniques, diagnostic procedures, and treatment options.
  • Strong clinical skills in performing dermatological procedures, including but not limited to skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and skin lesion removals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities to manage a diverse caseload, prioritize patient care, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital healthcare tools for efficient documentation and information management.
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in dermatology and evidence-based practices through continuous education and professional development.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, fostering a positive and supportive environment for patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
